Our products
We produce SLI and EFB batteries for passenger cars and trucks. You can find our products in vehicles manufactured by VW, Škoda, Toyota, Suzuki, Hyundai, Kia, CAT, Leyland and others. We serve both automotive manufacturers (OE customers) and the independent aftermarket (IAM).
Development, safety and health
Since 1992, we have increased production from the original 153 thousand to more than 12 million batteries per year. Continuous innovation and process optimization go hand in hand with our commitment to employee well-being—we implement programs to reduce blood lead levels, maintain zero tolerance for safety rule violations, and invest in the modernization of the workplace to ensure it is safe, efficient, and sustainable.
Sustainability and social responsibility
As part of our social responsibility activities, we have already planted more than 17,500 saplings (by 2025) in the region, we support refugees from Ukraine through accommodation, language education, and material assistance, and we actively cooperate with local schools, shelters, and charitable organizations. Our employees regularly take part in volunteering activities focused on environmental protection and supporting social projects.

Clarios Plastics Czech spol. s r.o.
A place where precision meets sustainability
At our modern Clarios Plastics Czech plant in Česká Lípa, we specialize in the production of plastic components for our batteries. Since its opening in 2013, we have developed the site into a technologically advanced center with the most comprehensive plastic product portfolio within the entire Clarios group. Today, we employ nearly 200 people, with an annual production capacity of around 200 million parts.

Our products
We produce plastic components - boxes, lids, caps and small parts - for SLI, EFB and AGM batteries for passenger and commercial vehicles. Our main customers are Clarios plants in Česká Lípa, Hannover and Zwickau.

As a company certified according to the latest system standard EN ISO 9001 and the automotive standard IATF 16949, we provide our customers with assurance of a properly functioning production plant focused on a process‑driven approach.
Sustainability and social responsibility
We are committed to environmental protection and energy efficiency, as confirmed by the ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 certifications. Nearly 40 % of input material is recycled content. All internal waste is 100% recycled.
We engage in local communities not only through financial support, but also through the volunteer work of our employees, helping where it is needed. We also cooperate with secondary schools and universities in the region, organize guided plant tours, and offer professional internships.
